About Me

Born and raised in the City of Taylor, I am a graduate of Taylor Center High School, Class of 1988. I was married in 2007 to my wife Sherry and we have 6 children and 7 grandchildren.

Professionally, I am employed by Cox Automotive Inc. as an Outside Coordinator. Previously I worked at Autocomm Inc and was responsible for hiring and terminating employees, payroll and maintaining our weekly budget.

My roots run deep in Taylor. I have been involved in the Taylor Tots Soccer League as well as a coach in Taylor North Little League. I formerly served on the Taylor Zoning Board and have been a member of the Knights of Columbus.

My Vision
The Treasurers office already has a fantastic staff for the day to day operations. My vision has to do with more involvement with the residents.
-
Home Visits- I will take time, daily, to meet with taxpayers and answer any questions they may have with respect to their tax bills.
-
Education- I will utilize the Taylor Today magazine as well as the Media Center to communicate with residents about tax programs for veterans and low income families.
-
Coordination- Utilize outside entity resources, like Wayne Metro, for assistance with tax related issues.
-
Assistance- Handle issues related to tax bills, such as special assessments, and help individuals rectify if needed.
-
Convenience- If City Hall is open, the Treasurers office window should be open. I will fight for the resources needed to keep the window open during business hours.
